Julianne Smith - aka The Garter Girl - just launched her new 2010 line with some brand new, gorgeous garters. And just in time for our Bachelorette theme! Maybe you are expected to bring lingerie to either a Bridal Shower or Bachelorette Party, think about a custom garter as a sexy alternative. Julianne also has a line called “Something Blue” and a blue garter could be the perfect wedding day contribution. Anyway, we love Julianne’s work and we want to congratulate her on the new line!

I am always on the hunt for a great wedding shower present that will surprise the bride and wow the other guests. With a wedding registry, yes the couple gets what they want. But, they already know what is coming and so does everyone else.

Some of the best wedding garters that I have recently made have actually not been for the brides themselves, but have been for a friend of the bride to give as a shower or bachelorette party present. Every time, the friends designing the gifts have so much fun picking out a wedding garter that will show off their bride’s personality.
