While I am more in the business of shopping wedding registries for others, and not making my own, I wanted to share this gorgeous new line of Le Creuset® cast iron bake ware that I saw last weekend in the window of Sur La Table. While Le Creuset® has been a brand since 1925, what makes these particular items exclusive to Sur La Table are the colors: Lilac and Cassis. It might just be my growing love of all things purple, but these pieces are gorgeous, stunning really, and would make any kitchen brighter.

In addition to their good looks, what is also so wonderful about these pieces is their longevity. They are dishwasher-safe and also fine to use in the microwave as well as the stove top and oven. They can also be placed in both the refrigerator and freezer. Plus, as serving dishes they will shine. No doubt should I have anything to register for, these will be on the list.
