About the Author
Becca Brown and Monica Ferguson Murphy, the founders, met their first day of analyst training at Goldman Sachs. The graduates of Harvard and Georgetown, respectively, became fast friends and ended up being classmates at Columbia Business School. While at Columbia, the duo wrote the business plan and even created a working prototype. Fast forward 12 months from their graduation and the two had secured ‘multiple’ patents, working designs, manufactured products, a commerce friendly website, and perhaps most importantly, the gratitude of women around the world.
“Heels make women look great – and feel great. We should not be limited to wearing flats or chunky heels just because we have to stand in grass or walk across uneven surfaces” said Monica. “Finally, we can wear the shoes that we love – where we want, when we want, and not worry about getting them ruined!”
